Texas artist EMOtional Xan’s career began taking off after the release of the visual for his song “Pressure” on No Jumper’s YouTube page on June 6th, 2018. Sitting at over 100,000 views, the video was received with strongly opinionated love and hate. While some viewers enjoyed his bold, Trap and Metal meshing style, others criticized him as being gimmicky. Regardless of the polarizing opinions and discouraging comments written as a reaction to his unorthodox aesthetic, Xan has continued to expand his brand and grow his popularity internationally. Recently being interviewed by Mass Appeal for their “Open Space” series in October, in-between he managed to release another song on No Jumper titled ‘Let Up.’ In which the video has gained over 60k views as of March 2019.
